Responsibilities:
- Provide support to enterprise server platforms and hardware.
- Work with the project management team, technical team, and business unit to build server solutions.
- Participate in performing and leading technology build, test, and deployment activities.
- Continuously maintain and improve processes and procedures to improve productivity and effectiveness.
- Participate in technology forums and industry user groups.
- Maintain current technical knowledge to support rapidly changing technology, always on a look out for new technologies and work with management and development team in bringing new technologies to the organization.
- Exercise mature judgment that creatively balances both centralized and business-aligned operational context.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as the ability to lead groups in meetings and consensus building.
- Basic Understanding of windows platforms.
- Effective time management and organizational skills as well as the ability to manage multiple and changing priorities with attention to detail.
- The ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as in a team environment.
- Well-developed technical and analytical skills required to support and troubleshoot complex issues in an enterprise environment.
- Understanding of VMware, Windows Servers and Active Directory.
- 3 to 5 years of strong experience in PHP programming with MySQL.
- Clear understanding of Open Source Technologies and the System Concept.
- Basic knowledge in CSS.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor s Degree in Computer Science, or equivalent work experience, and 3 to 7 years in Information Technology environment.
