Responsibilities:

  •  
    Implement endorsed plans and programs to achieve set objectives.
  •  
    Provide solutions related to Network LAN, WAN and security.
  •  
    Perform frequent gap analysis and review of the network setup related to managed IT and cloud and fix all gaps.
  •  
    Make improvement plans and technology up gradation plans as per the technology development.
  •  
    Identify problems, categorize, prioritize and troubleshoot systems and networking issues at NourNet in a timely manner.
  •  
    Identify the causes of networking problems, using diagnostic testing software and equipment.
  •  
    Maintain existing network systems and ensuring that proper fail-safe, failure recovery, and security procedures are followed.
  •  
    Ensure that the communications infrastructure is maintained to provide reliable services for the company, and ensure that the network is stable and highly available.
  •  
    Coordinate with other Managed IT teams to resolve problems if necessary and within Service Level Agreement (SLA) guidelines.
  •  
    Ensure that networking systems have maximum availability during peak and non-peak hours.
  •  
    Ensure that all networked systems at NourNet maintain high integrity and security from both internal and external threats.
  •  
    Daily monitoring of network traffic, problem analysis and maintenance of network servers.
  •  
    Identify and evaluate new technologies to use at NourNet in order to meet the ever-changing needs of the expanding network technologies.
  •  
    Provide support and consulting to internal customers on communications related issues and services such as adds/moves/changes to existing communication networks
  •  
    Provide recommendations and proposed solutions to managed IT projects and undertake the implementation of assigned projects including the design, integration, installation and commissioning.
  •  
    Prepare technical presentations for internal and external use.
  •  
    Evaluate and recommends new application, policies and systems to improve network performance.
  •  
    Keep abreast with the current and emerging networking and security technologies, and evaluates future needs.
  •  
    Find creative solutions to the challenges of network design, data service requirements, and internet and network signaling protocols.
  •  
    Maintain, and configure security network hardware (ex. Firewalls, IP devices, Logging Systems, Security Provisioning Systems.
  •  
    Maintain firmware and software at current levels for all networking/security equipment.
  •  
    Complete Networking and Telecommunications security and penetration assessments with external vendors for all internal company departments.
  •  
    Design tests to assess reliability and accessibility of Managed IT networks at NourNet.
  •  
    Modify and adjust network performance and answer queries if needed and assist in resolving network problems.
  •  
    Execute health checks and performance tuning for networks and systems.
  •  
    Diagnose and offer repair instructions for networks of NourNet remotely, as well as in person.
  •  
    Participate in design meetings and conference calls with the company’s technical teams and clients.
  •  
    Participate in conducting training for end users on network systems.
  •  
    Participate in the deployment, and proper operation of various network systems and components including: routers, switches, internet services, wide area network services, wireless networks, VPNs.
  •  
    Participate in implementation of enhancements, updates, upgrades and patches to ensure equipment is preventively maintained, running properly and protected from security threats.
  •  
    Troubleshoot complex issues within and outside of primary assigned infrastructure domains.

Requirements:

  •  
    Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent.
  •  
    10 years of experience in a similar field.
  •  
    Excellent communication skills
