Piper Companies is currently seeking a candidate for a temp-to-perm .NET Web Developer position in Bethesda, MD. This candidate will code, develop, install, test, debug, and document new systems and applications in a .NET environment.

Responsibilities of the Web Developer:

• Develop, code, install, test, debug, and document new systems and applications, utilizing the following technologies:
  • Microsoft .NET 4.7/4.8
  • ASP.NET
  • C# .NET
  • Web Forms
  • MVC
  • SQL Server 2016/2019
  • WCF Data Services
• Identify, recommend, and prioritize new features.
• Develop new functionality on existing products.
• Work collaboratively with other project team members.
• Review business requirements and technical design for completeness.

Qualifications of the Web Developer:

• 4+ years of experience with web technologies, protocols, and tools, with a strong understanding of ASP.NET architecture, SQL, and C# programming (including multiple authentication methods with AD)
• Knowledge of responsive design, JQuery, containers, and related strategies (preferred)
• Bachelor's degree in a technical field (preferred)
• Thorough understanding of application development methodologies
• Working knowledge of Service-Oriented Architecture, microservices, and Azure Cloud
• Experience with SQL Server and (ideally) Oracle
• Knowledge and experience working with code repository (GIT, Jenkins)
• or holder (must be able to work on W2)

Compensation for the Web Developer:

• Salary: $75k-$95k/year (depending on experience)
