Job Description
Position: .Net Web Application Developer
Duration: 8+ months (long term up to 5 Years)
Location: 100% Remote
Location:
  • As a result of current COVID-19 restrictions, the Contractor is expected to complete the majority of work assignments remotely, with telephonic meetings and video conferences. The assigned AOC Project Manager, at their sole discretion, will determine what meetings the Contractor will be expected to attend
Minimum Requirements:
  • Staff typically develop or assist in the development of Analysis and Design documents, traceability matrices and perform programming functions to support change requirements or problem resolution. Proposed Senior Level Application Developers must possess a minimum of 5 years’ experience, in each of the Required Skills and knowledge areas in the list below:
  • At least five (5) years’ experience in implementing web-enabled applications in ASP.NET Core,
  • At least five (5) years’ experience in implementing web-enabled applications in.NET Core, C#,
  • At least five (5) years’ experience in implementing web-enabled applications in ASP.NET,
  • At least five (5) years’ experience in implementing web-enabled applications in HTML5,
  • At least five (5) years’ experience in implementing web-enabled applications in ASP.NET MVC,
  • At least five (5) years’ experience in implementing web-enabled applications in React,
  • At least five (5) years’ experience in implementing web-enabled applications in JSON,
  • At least five (5) years’ experience in implementing web-enabled applications in REST, and
  • At least five (5) years’ experience in implementing web-enabled applications in CSS.
Key responsibilities for web application development include the following:
  • Responsible for software development based on functional and technical requirements and designs;
  • Develop web-applications, web services, user interface components, and transformation/orchestration/routing components using industry standards and best practices;
  • Prepare technical specifications. Reviews and comments on functional and technical specifications written by AOC staff for the assigned project(s);
  • Prepare test scripts, conduct unit tests and resolve code defects;
  • Write deployment documentation and manuals as necessary;
  • Collaborate with project team(s) to work on project tasks;
  • Provide timely reports to the project management that help monitor the progress, issues and risks; and
  • Perform other duties as required by the assigned Project Manager.
  • The Application Developer will use their expertise in implementing web-enabled applications in ASP.NET Core, .NET Core, C#, ASP.NET, HTML5, ASP.NET MVC, React, JSON, REST, CSS; writing .NET/WCF ide and C#/.NET/WCF subroutines based on specifications; and creating applications, services and user interfaces using C# and.NET, MVC, WCF, JavaScript, HTML5, SQL, LINQ, JQuery and JSON will assist them to:
  • Develop of a new secure portal using the .NET technology stack
  • Create a standardized registration and user self-management site and link it to the new secure portal for the appellate courts.
  • Create integration with AOC Case Management System to allow registered users to upload case documents.
  • Create SQL Server views that extract data from AOC case management system for consumption by the secure portal.
  • Communicate with AOC Document Management System using a third party identity provider platform and integrating it with the new portal using OATH protocols.
  • Integrate with AOC Document Management System to search and display documents.
