Job Title: Mobile first Web application developer
Location: Minneapolis,MN
Duration: 6+ months contract

Description:
Client would like to bring in a consultant with experience assisting teams in developing mobile first web applications with Angular. This person would split their time between training development teams on the fundamentals and best practices for mobile first web development and immediately applying this training by assisting them in the development of the application.

1. Scope of services/description of work to be performed

Mentor Development Teams on the following topics, as appropriate (50%):

• Mobile first web application development with Angular.
• Designing and creating responsive CSS with Angular.
• CSS best practices for user experience and accessibility for mobile/desktop/tablet devices.
• Generating touch friendly user interfaces.
• Testing web applications to ensure they work across targeted mobile/desktop/tablet devices.
• Tools and techniques for developing applications that work on all devices.
• Browser detection and error handling.

Mentor Agile Development teams in creating high value “prototype” Azure applications as proof-of-concept examples for rapid future development (50%):

• Apply best practices and assist development team create mobile first web application.

1. Specific skills/experience required:

Good working understanding of on-premise Microsoft Infrastructure technologies

• Expert knowledge in Angular and Angular frameworks.
• Expert knowledge in CSS and mobile first development.
• Good understanding of ECMAScript and their support on different devices.
• Good understanding of progressive web applications.
• Good understanding of testing web applications for mobile use and accessibility
• Good general understanding of Azure Services and Azure portal.
• Good general understanding of Office 365 and Sharepoint Online.
• Good understanding of Active Directory and Azure Active Directory fundamentals
