Job Description

About the Job

Sastun Family Medicine is a well-established, independent full-spectrum family medicine practice and is seeking a Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse or Certified Medical Assistant to join us.

We are a close-knit and extremely supportive team. We care for our patients how we would want to be cared for ourselves: with the utmost in thoroughness, compassion, respect, joy and up-to-date evidence-based care. Additionally, having a healthy and balanced personal and professional life is top priority. Because of this, each day we care for about half the number of patients of the typical primary care practice. Quality takes time and dedication!

We care for patients ranging in age from newborn to nearly 100 years old, with a goodly percentage of children. In addition to primary care, our practice also includes numerous in-office general and gynecological procedures.

The open position is full time (4-5 days per week) and includes:

— Salary that is substantially above average for such a position in Santa Fe according to US Bureau of Labor Statistics

— Salary that is dependent upon experience and training

— Health and dental insurance fully paid

— Health Savings Account and retirement plan

— Generous paid time off

— Uncommon perks throughout the year!

The successful candidate must be mature, experienced and demonstrate a medically professional work ethic.

At least three years experience in a primary care setting is preferred, but we will consider less depending on the candidate. Fluency in Spanish is preferred. Fluency in American Sign Language is very helpful, but not required.
