Cloud/DevOps Program (PRPS)

Overview:
The purpose of this program is to obtain system capability support, maintenance, and modification of the PRPS application and web-based training simulation. In addition, this program covers support activities related to the support of PRPS in production on the Air Force (AF) Cloud One, formerly known as the Common Computing Environment (CCE), Amazon Web Services (AWS) GovCloud to include commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) and Open Source Software (OSS) upgrades. PRPS became fully operational in September 2010 and is used by the Air Force Sustainment Center (AFSC) to initiate Purchase Instruments for weapon system spare part buys, repairs, and related services needed to support supply chain operations.

Responsibilities:
• PRPS domain expert working with the user base and stakeholders to develop and advise on program requirements and business case implementation needs.
• Provides insight to the development and operations teams on business rules and business operation processes as defined by domain standards and policies.
• Works with the data engineers to define and refine workflows, schemas, and other data definitions associated with domain specific language and meta data.
• Provides expert user-centric support reach back to the operations team.
• Manages and facilitates all test activities as required to support program milestone test requirements.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree and 6+ years of experience
• Secret clearance

Certification
• IAT Level 2 Certification (Security +CE). Required to obtain in the first 6 months.
