Lead Frontend Web Developer - St. Louis, MO

We are looking for a Lead Frontend Developer/Mentor who can provide technical leadership for front-end development and will be a key to the success of our deliverables/personal growth and development of others.

You are the bridge between UX designers and developers, and enjoy facilitating collaboration between everyone. You ensure ideas are technically feasible, and that we're delivering a rich experience for thousands of our teams and clients.

The right candidate will:

• Be comfortable mentoring multiple entry and mid-level developers
• Approach tasks with empathy and a service-oriented mindset
• Architect responsive and browser agnostic web applications
• Collaborate with UX designers to ensure technical feasibility and translate design vision into reality
• Build reusable code and libraries for future use
• Optimize application performance for maximum speed and scalability
• Participate in and represent UX in cross−functional groups across the division and firm to continually advance technology solutions and take systems to the next level
• Advise teams on the effective use of front-end technology within our enterprise architecture tools, including methodologies, best practices, processes and standards
• Proactively seek process and technical improvements and take the initiative to communicate and implement solutions

Position Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience developing responsive and browser agnostic web applications in an enterprise environment
• 5+ years of experience with HTML, HTML5, CSS, CSS3, Advanced JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX, JSON, and REST Web Services
• 2+ years of experience Angular
• Experience with React is a plus
• Ability to use CSS extensively to create custom and rich user interfaces
• Experience mentoring entry and mid-level developers
• Experience and passion for working in an agile environment
• Java experience is a plus
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organization skills required to manage multiple efforts
• Strong analytical and problem−solving skills
