Overview

VariQ has an exciting opportunity for a highly qualified Lead Developerto support the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Identity Solutions in Rockville MD.

Additional Information:

  • Salary: Market rate/dependent upon experience
  • Security Clearance: Active DHS EOD highly preferred, ability to obtain a DHS EOD required
  • Available: Upon award
  • Location: Rockville MD (part-time), with occasional travel to Roslyn VA, part-time telework may be available



Responsibilities

  • Direct the creation and modification of all software ensuring proper performance and integration between internal and external system components.
  • The Lead Developer directs the creation and modification of all software ensuring proper performance and integration between internal and external system components.
  • The Lead Developer will direct the identification and design of technical solutions to include the software, hardware, and communications to support cross functional, security, and interoperability requirements.



Qualifications

  • In-depth DevSecOps knowledge/expertise with the design requirements for the agile SELC or equivalent lifecycle process.
  • The minimal qualifications are over 10 years relevant development experience in the development/modification of code and configuration changes, and for relevant design experience for large scale information technology and database systems comprised of a multi-tier architecture and the integration of highly complex commercial software products and custom code for large scale information technology and database systems comprised of C++, JAVA, PL/SQL, Go, Python, Ruby, C# programming
  • Agile certifications in SCRUM, Kanban, and SAFe preferred.
