Junior/Mid Web Application Developer with ERP

Location: Remote/Garden City, NY

Duration: 12+ months (long term contract + conversion)

Key Skills: SQL, experience with web based enterprise applications, ERP experience preferred

Qualifications and experience:

3+ years working in a team environment developing web-based business applications (preference in PeopleSoft)

Experience in information systems implementation, change management efforts and business process redesign

Experience in developing, prototyping, testing solutions for information systems implementation

Understanding of life cycle implementation in enterprise business applications

Familiarity with general standards and approach for delivering application work products

Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills

Experience effectively prioritizing workload to meet deadlines and work objectives

Experience identifying and documenting functional requirements for information systems

Excellent communication skills and ability to write clearly and concisely

Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation creation tools

PeopleSoft skills: Will be trained in

Working knowledge of Application Designer tools

Understanding of tracing tools and features

Working knowledge of PeopleCode

Working knowledge of Crystal reports

Working knowledge of BI publisher

Working knowledge of Application Engine

Good knowledge of SQR

Preferred knowledge of Integration Broker

Preferred knowledge of PUM and Change Assistant

Preferred knowledge of Data Mover

Preferred experience working with HCM modules

Good understanding of SQL

Preferred understanding of HTML, XML, CSS, JavaScript

Non-PeopleSoft (generic) skills:

Understanding of standard-based platforms and frameworks (used for design and deployment of web applications)

Experience working with object-oriented and procedural language(s)

Developed and deployed web-based applications

Developed programs based on business specifications/requirements

Developed various reports

Working knowledge of HTML, XML, CSS, JavaScript

Good understanding of SQL

Experience working with Oracle or SQL Server database

Experience working with SQL query tools
