A major financial firm is currently seeking a Javascript Developer to join their team in New York, NY.

Responsibilities

This position includes writing technical documentation as a guide for the end-users of components, as well as any work needed in order to support the components.

• Develop and design reusable JavaScript components
• Collaborate with project engineers, architects, and other stakeholders during design and delivery of common components
• Ensure requirements are met throughout development efforts
• Ensure code is in compliance with System Reuse code quality and security standards

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field
• Expert level JavaScript/TypeScript skills
• Significant experience with Angular, Vue, or React
• Vue experience preferred
• Modern JavaScript development/testing tooling (for example: NPM, Yarn, Jest, Cypress, Rollup, Webpack, TSDX, etc.)
• Familiarity with CI and CD development workflows
• Understanding trade-offs when designing, bundling, and distributing reusable front-end assets via NPM
• Must be comfortable demonstrating components to a technical crowd
