We are currently seeking a Java / Hadoop Developer to join our team in Brighton, Massachusetts (US-MA), United States (US).

Role Responsibilities:

Focused and driven attitude towards contributing on the creation, enhancement and delivery of complex solutions

Ability to work with diverse personalities both technical and non-technical

-Provide API and web development in an AWS environment.

-Develop applications using Java/J2EE/Spring Boot and design and develop database components

-Hive HQL, Ingestion process to Hdfs

-Handle different types of Hadoop file formats, provide oozie scheduling, program in Python and use Java script toolkit

-Web framework (Spring, Spring MVC a plus, Java Application server's (WebLogic/WebSphere/Tomcat framework), Struts

Basic Qualifications:

-8+ years Java/J2EE

-5 years of Hadoop

-3 years Hive HQL

Preferences:

-Dojo

-Understanding of the SDLC: planning, analysis, design, coding, testing, problem resolution

Education:

-Bachelor degree in computer science or related field
