Job Description

Position Details: Full Stack Java Developer (60% backend / 40% frontend)

Location: Smyrna, GA (remote then onsite after Covid)

Duration: 12 month contract (W2 only) (up to 3 year contract)

The Sr. Software Engineer is responsible for joining a supply chain team customizing and creating new software for the transportation group. This is a full stack Java developer responsible for 60% backend development and 40% front end development.

Sr. Java Developer Requirements:

  • 5+ years of programming background with Java programming
  • Development experience with React or Angular (React preferred), Node desired
  • Cloud experience with Google Cloud Platform or other Cloud product (AWS, Azure, etc.)
  • Experienced in Microservices development with Spring Boot framework in a cloud native platfoirm
  • Hands-on experience in SOAP and REST client-server communication using XML and JSON data parsing.
  • Oracle and PostgreSQL database experience desired
  • Experience with an architectural pattern such as MVP, MVC.
