Title- System Integration Engineer
Remote worker
Project is to implement and integrate Apache Kafka data streaming across Client to make Client, Product, and related information more easily accessible across the enterprise.
What Project/Projects will the candidate be working on while on assignment?
Client Profile and Product Identity System Implementations (via Apache Kafka), including integration with multiple upstream and downstream operating solutions/systems, spanning multiple lines of Healthcare lines of business (i.e. Health, Rx, Insights).
Will be working with a team: Client Source of Truth. Team size approximately 20 (matrixed)
Responsibilities:
Acts as a Client technical lead Kafka architect and developer during the product implementation
Works with project team to define the best integration solution to meet business, functional and data requirements.
In partnership with the project team, defines the logical sequence of integration activities to ensure success delivery.
Supports required Cloud infrastructure and system components.
Develop and Design integration patterns using Apache KAFKA (Data Streaming)
Create technology solution to support critical business application to high levels of availability, stability, and performance.
Configures complex data imports and process configuration across multiple upstream and downstream operating solutions/systems, spanning multiple lines of Healthcare lines of business (i.e. Health, Rx, Insights).
Provides solution oversight and guidance during design, configure, and test phases
Develops, delivers, and supports critical enterprise technical capabilities in an Agile manner
Manage critical business applications and contracted engagements to extremely high levels of availability, stability, and performance.
Work with technology and business stakeholders to achieve successful implementation.

MS Office, JAVA, Apache KAFKA
What skills/attributes are a must have?
Primary
5+ years experience Scaling Production Applications (API, JAVA, Apche KAFKA, RABBIT MQ etc)
5+ years Integration experience
2+ years of Cloud application architecture experience
Agile experience
Self-Starter technologist
Publishing to Apache KAFKA stream
Client Data or CRM experience
What skills/attributes are nice to have?
CRM Experience
SalesForce
Technical Experience with multiple technologies
Cloud Architecture, Kafka Streaming, JAVA Springboot, ETL tools
SOFT SKILLS: Maturity to be productive and efficient without constant supervision. Good communication skills to work with distributed team members via conference calls and screen sharing sessions. Patience with our end user development community to deliver and support the most productive solution.
What are the work hours? 7am - 3pm CT; 8-4pm CT for the most part. We work with an offshore team and so a few times a month an earlier morning start may be required.
