iOS Mobile App Developer (React Native & Swift)
Location McLean, VA Duration - 6 months to start
Description:
- We are seeking a creative, hands-on, talented iOS mobile app engineer to be a member of the Innovation Lab's IT Tech Strategy Team.
- As a Senior Android & iOS developer you will be focused on developing and delivering advanced iOS mobile apps and enhancing features by creating new and innovative ideas.
- As a iOS Mobile Developer, you will bring solid experience in emerging and traditional technologies such as: React Native, objective c/swift/java, iOS (& Android SDK.)
Role & Responsibilities:
iOS Mobile Application Development:
- Design and build advanced applications for the iOS platforms
- Strong in iOS coding and methodologies with Proof of work (e.g. GITHUB contributions) & have published one or more iOS apps in the app store (should be able to demo the App)
- Ability to design mobile code and implement both functional and non-functional requirements
- Expertise in Modern Mobile Architecture as well as software design patterns to ensure the productivity, maintainability and scalability
- Experienced in Mobile Native UI, Realm, Networking, Persistency, Multithreading, performance, push notifications, concurrency, Swift & React Native, and Security Agile Development
- Collaborate with and across Agile teams to design, develop, test, implement, and support technical solutions in a full-stack development tools and technologies and partner with Product/Business teams
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or IT
- Design and build advanced applications for the iOS platforms
- 5+ years of professional work experience with iOS development (Swift & React Native)
- Strong in iOS coding and methodologies with Proof of work (e.g. GITHUB contributions) & have published one or more iOS apps in the app store (should be able to demo the App)
- Collaborate with and across Agile teams to design, develop, test, implement, and support technical solutions and partner with Product/Business teams
- Expertise in Unit testing, Espresso testing and Mobile Automation Test
- Ability to design mobile code and implement both functional and non-functional requirements
- Expertise in Modern Mobile Architecture as well as software design patterns to ensure the productivity, maintainability and scalability
- Experienced in Mobile Native UI, Realm, Networking, Persistency, Multithreading, performance, push notifications, concurrency, Java for Android, and Security.
- Experience using Git code repository technology, code reviews, RESTful APIs and other web services
- 10+ years of total software development experience
- Knowledge of backend technologies & microservices with Java Spring Boot and making REST API calls
