We are currently seeking a Information Security Python Developer to join our team in Baltimore, Maryland (US-MD), United States (US).
Must be or holder.
Role Responsibilities:
-Python development focused on data analysis, metrics generation, and visualization leveraging python.
-Help to establish initial metrics and coverage mapping against cybersecurity standards such as the Mitre Framework.
-Develop analytics to represent cybersecurity coverage metrics
-Work with very large amounts of network and host-based log data
-Analyze results using technical understanding to constantly improve defensive analytic output
-Work closely with partner organizations to diagnose discovered anomalies and provide secure system engineering support
-Troubleshoot data quality and standardization issues and adapt very quickly to new technologies, threats, and development needs
-Demonstrate an eagerness to understand complex problems and requirements, an aptitude for translating these problems into workable designs and solutions, and will possess a keen eye for detail
-Self-motivated individual and creative thinker who will take ownership of tasks and projects, able to work with the team, manages tasks effectively, and has a proven track record of consistent and organized outputs
Basic Qualifications:
-2+ years python development
-2 years data analysis and able to operate in a DevOps environment.
-1+ years analytic techniques using primarily Open Source tools and development.
-1+ years data analytics for metrics generation leveraging python.
-1+ years intrusion analysis or incident response or pen testing
Preferences/nice to have:
-Understanding of the MITRE Attack Framework
-Understand requirements and business priorities to effectively communicate cyber risks and threats
-Ability to work in a team environment
Education:
-Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline (preferably computer science) or equivalent experience
