Job Description

The position provides technical support services and perform activities in support of the Policy and Communication Office (PCO). With an increase in policy and communication product requests, CPR’s DSLR, specifically the DSLR Policy and Communication Office (PCO), requires contracted assistance through a vendor capable of providing a full-time graphic designer. PCO will utilize this position for day-to-day functions such as intranet web design, SharePoint administration and page design, manipulation of data tables and graphs, DSLR internet design, social media posts, presentations, ensuring 508 compliance and also provide support services for response activities to the State Coordination Task Force (SCTF).

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

• Graphic design in web, digital, and print using existing and emerging web and application development
  • Intranet web design
  • SharePoint page design
  • Data tables and graphs manipulation
  • DSLR internet design
  • Social media posts
• SharePoint Administration
• 508 compliance with Section 508 of the Americans with Disabilities Act Implementing accessibility requirements for web pages, documents, and presentations (such as Word, PowerPoint, and PDF).
• Produce new ideas and concepts
• Develop interactive designs
• Produce illustrative products
  • Presenting data, designing reports, and developing wireframes and print mock-ups
• Digital image manipulation
• Content editing and proofreading

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. CDC experience preferred.
• Will possess good working knowledge of computer operations and associated software (Microsoft Office) and specified web-based applications in order to accomplish all tasks associated with this contract.
• Ability to complete a background investigation to receive a CDC clearance.
