Fullstack Developer/ Web Designer L2
6+ months (Possible Extension)

Reporting to the Digital Lead, below are the responsibilities and qualifications for the full stack developer/web designer

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, maintain and update websites in HTML, CSS and JavaScript, Enterprise TeamSite Content Management System (CMS) templates and Wordpress templates
• Work with communications and IT team members to build agency specific iterations of enterprise CMS systems and applications, build & maintain pages for NYCHA portal
• Manage multiple stakeholders and performance goals while problem-solving and troubleshooting
• Concept, design, and build CMS templates and reusable content widgets using HTML, CSS, and Javascript
• Apply design thinking and human-centered design principles to our digital communications

Qualifications

• Must be able to present an online portfolio to be considered
• 5+ years of professional experience building and maintaining websites in HTML, CSS and JavaScript, Enterprise TeamSite Content Management System (CMS) templates and Wordpress templates
• Understands and applies principles of page optimization
• Experience with cross-device/responsive design techniques
• Familiarity with web trends and best practices for UX/UI design
• Ability to work both as part of a team and independently, as well as able to manage simultaneous projects
• Excellent writing and communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with all departments
• Ability to respond to business objectives with creative, innovative design solutions
• Creative problem solving with the ability to present multiple solutions and potential side effects
• Experience with SEO

Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
