I am looking for a Full Stack Ruby on Rails developer for a remote position. Help my client build and maintain a competitive advantage in one of the hottest industries and create standalone applications that can be used internally and integrated into their burgeoning vendor ecosystem. They are building everything from mobile apps to personalization/consumer taste engines and hybrid consumer marketplaces like no one has ever seen. What we are looking for in a remote Senior Ruby on Rails Developer: An entrepreneurial full stack software engineer who feels comfortable learning new technologies as well as diving into legacy systems, writing Ruby/Python/Javascript and configuring servers or optimizing Postgres. Requirements:

• 5+ years experience of professional software development (Ruby on Rails)
• 5+ years experience of production system support
• 1+ year experience working remotely
• 2+ years experience with AWS core services (EC2, RDS, CloudFront, Route53, S3)
• 5+ years Ruby on Rails
• 2+ years: JavaScript, Python, React
• Postgres administration, DML/DDL SQL, query optimization
• Knowledge using Git and GitHub
• Experience building and integrating with RESTful APIs
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience building scalable web services
