Frontend Developer with UI/UX and Angular exp

Spartanburg, SC (3 days/week onsite AFTER Covid- Remote for now)

Salary: 105K-115K + 3K for Relocation if required

Interview Process:

a) 2 online assessments (1 is general IQ/aptitude and the other is C# or Python).

b) Small programming assessment (coding project) that would be discussed during a Zoom interview w/ Code Review. No whiteboard deep-dive on code

Client is looking for an experienced Front-end Developer with modern Single Page Apps (SPAs).

This is a development position and involves mentoring junior team members and leading small development teams. You will also be instrumental in introducing new development techniques and technologies and will assist in the adoption and implementation of Scrum.

You will constantly look for ways to push our development capability and footprint to the next level, so staying current with the latest technology tools and trends is vital for success.

Note: The company provides a great deal of support and training (think paid-for certifications!) to each employee and works hard to attract and retain TOP talent.

Company is moving to AWS - ALL of the Developers are being AWS Deve certified which the company is paying for; they have “learning Fridays”

Qualifications

• • Demonstrable, solid front-end development experience using Angular/React or another modern SPA (Single Page Application) framework. Experienced with SPA-related visualization and able to bring UI/UX responsive visualization into reality.

• • Software Engineer with a strong understanding of design patterns and a focus on creating reusable code and components in JavaScript.

• • Create self-contained, reusable, and testable modules and components.

• • Proficient in current development and source code management tools.

• • Must be able to make architectural decisions to support growing, enterprise applications.

• • Experience building SPAs from scratch is ideal.

• • Experience with Continuous Integration.

• • Experience with Agile development methodologies.

• • Preferred skills include Python, AWS

• • A solid background in maintaining and developing applications from conception to implementation.

• • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail and an ability to clearly communicate and share solutions with the team.

• • Proven leadership skills and ability to work with teams which includes both remote and onsite resources ranging from Junior to Senior level.

• • Excellent verbal, written and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop FinTech-centric applications based with minimal technical supervision.

• Work directly with business leaders and subject matter experts on the most important things that drive value to the business

• Work on a Scrum team to deliver software solutions by providing the essential benefit to the customers by delivering the simplest solution to the functional requirement.

Work cross-functionally with other team members such as other engineers, testers, product owners, designers, operations, and customer support

• Join Agile Product Teams practicing rapid software development and delivery

• Mentor junior engineers, new team members, and apply technical expertise to challenging programming and design problems

• Use disparate pieces of information to drive investigation toward problem resolution

• Demonstrate an understanding of current trends in information technology best practices and standards and how to apply this understanding to work projects and processes.

• Make recommendations for improvements to the technology from the assigned I.T. platform

• Seek out, research and experiment with new technologies
