Frontend Developer Westlake, TX 6+ Months

Skills Required:

• Mostly Front End, will sit in Westlake Post Covid:
• Must have front-end skills in Javascript, CSS, Vue.js and Angular 6+
• Must have backend programming skills in NodeJS, Typescript, API development/ design
• Must have good knowledge of Test Driven Development, CI, and CD

The Purpose of Your Role:

• Our teams build and chip in to client's platform. As a Front End Engineer, you will be an integral member of a dynamic team continuously improving our cloud deployment platform, “automating all the things”, in support of our rapidly expanding product portfolio.
• Suggest deployment patterns & practices improvements based on takeaways from past deployments and production issues, collaborate with DevOps team to implement these.
• Promote a DevOps culture, including establishing relationships with other technical and business teams.
• Design effective monitoring / alerting (for conditions such as application-errors, high memory usage) and log aggregation approaches (to quickly access logs for troubleshooting, or generate reports for trend analysis) to proactively notify business stakeholders of issues and communicate metrics, working closely with these stakeholders.
• You’ll have the opportunity to chip in to own entire features from concept to deployment working on multi-functional teams. You'll have the opportunity to supply ideas to improve our products as well as develop your skills, learn new technologies and languages, and continue to learn. • Stay on top of Algorithms, Data Structures and Design Patterns and love the challenge of building highly scalable systems that can support thousands of transactions/sec.
• Have a mindset of test first development and are experienced in modern test frameworks. We believe in testing and that quality is everyone’s job.
• Are data-driven and can measure, collect and use data to make decisions. We understand the value of intuition and the need to balance decisions accordingly.
• Have strong communication skills and technical expertise to drive and participate in important discussions.

The Skills You Bring:

• A strong understanding of Linux administration including Bash scripting
• Strong knowledge in experience application development with micro architectures.
• Very strong in Javascript, Node, Vue.js and Angular
• Must have good knowledge of Test Driven Development, CI, and CD
• Good knowledge of HTTP based APIs, Networking and how the internet works.
• Good knowledge in JavaScript, Typescript, CSS, HTML & Browser Developer tools.
• Automation Tools/Frameworks
• Linux, Shell Scripting, Docker and AWS Cloud certification will be a plus
