Full-Time Employee role at our direct client, a major financial firm in New Jersey, requires a senior developer. The Senior Server-Side Java Developer will design and development of major applications components, map complex business requirements into technical designs / solutions / architecture, design / recommend frameworks for financial / capital markets applications.

The Senior Java Developer must possess expert level skills in Core Java 8, Hibernate, Spring Boot, Struts, Multi-Threaded applications, JMS / MQ Series, DB2 or Oracle, SQL, Query Tuning, JDBC. The candidate must have strong experience as a Senior Developer on large Core Java applications projects.

We are looking for strong Server-Side Java Developers who are very motivated and have designed and developed high performance, multi-threaded, message based financial systems / capital markets applications.

Minimum Experience Required:

• 8+ years of Java design & development
• 4 years of current experience at Major Wall Street firms
• 2 years as a Senior Developer with strong experience in Core Java 8, Multi-Threaded, Message Based, SOA based applications
• Extensive hands-on design and development using Core Java, Hibernate, JPA, Spring, Struts, JMS
• Strong experience designing applications based on messaging middleware (MQ or Tibco EMS)
• 4 years experience designing / developing Financial Services / Capital Markets applications
