Job Description:

As Senior Design Technologist, you will own and drive the design for multiple products and platforms that support the organization. We are a fast-paced, collaborative environment, and you'll drive design from early-stage concepts all the way through final delivery and launch. You'll work closely with product management, engineering, and executive leadership. Ideal candidates are self-starters who bring original ideas and fresh approaches to each project they work on.

Basic Qualifications:
6+ years of experience as a front-end developer, interaction designer or similar.
Proficiency with modern front-end web languages; HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Experience with frameworks; React, Angular, and Bootstrap.
Translated visual design into working web components for our design system.
Mockup and prototyping tools such as Sketch, lnVision, Figma, Adobe CS, or equivalent.
Quickly and iteratively create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, high fidelity mockups, and detailed UI and visual design specifications to Product and Engineering teams, as well as business stakeholders and executive leadership.
Incorporate customer feedback, technical constraints, and usability findings into design.
Develop and maintain detailed information architecture and design specifications.
Be resourceful and creative to overcome obstacles and turn challenges into opportunities.
Fluency in best practices for web-based information architecture and interaction design, user-centered design process, as well as a fundamental knowledge of user experience principles and techniques.
Portfolio of work demonstrating breadth and depth in IxD, visual design, and front-end development.
Ability to work efficiently and demonstrate a bias for action in a fast paced, often ambiguous environment.
Experience in UX performance optimization using qualitative and quantitative assessments.
Create user-centered designs by understanding business requirements, the voice of the customer, user journeys, customer feedback, and usability findings.

Preferred Qualifications:
Proficiency with After Effects, InVision Studio, or similar motion graphic software to showcase end-to-end IxD concepts.
Exceptional problem-solving abilities, clear communication skills, and solid design instincts who can translate their designs into engineering-focused solutions.
Energetic leader with the ability to present a strong rationale for their design decisions.

Education:
Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or equivalent professional experience
Required Skills: FRONT-END; UX; JAVASCRIPT; IXD CONCEPTS; CSS; BOOTSTRAP.
