Role: Data Engineer

Location: Redmond, WA

Duration: Contract

Job Description:

• Good working knowledge of data ingestion to Azure Data Lake
• Build pipelines to acquire data from different sources like blob storage, on-prem Sql, Azure Sql
• Create schedule triggers for data refresh and sending email notification, alerts
• Debug existing pipelines & performance optimization
• Good understanding of JSON
• Strong knowledge on use of Azure resources
• Hands on Experience in creating data Pipelines using Azure Data Factory
• Experience on Azure Analysis Services
• Knowledge on CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps.
• Hands on experience in using Azure Databricks and SCALA language
• Sound knowledge on Git repositories, builds, releases and CI/CD process.
• Good experience on SQL queries
• Good knowledge on data warehouse & tabular model

Nice To Have

• Microsoft working experience will be a big plus
• Working with Azure Databricks Notebook, Logic Apps and Azure Runbook
• Knowledge on Azure PowerShell
• Experience on using Scala & Spark
• Sound experience on ETL & usage of SSIS
• Creating Visualization using Power BI
• Understanding on Azure App insights, Azure Key Vault, Azure Search Index, Azure Functions
