Aqueduct is currently seeking a Consultant in our Data Center Practice who will be responsible for providing design, implementation, and operational support to our customer base using advanced Microsoft focused Data Center Technologies. The successful candidate must have strong written and verbal communication skills, be client-focused, service-driven, and able to simultaneously manage multiple projects and implementations with an advanced skillset specific to Windows, Active Directory, Storage, and VMware environments.

Essential Job Responsibilities:

• Understand clients' business processes to assess and identify best practices for hardware configurations that meet industry standards
• Design and deploy technology using reference architecture and industry best practice
• Lead implementations and provide support for solutions that can be new, integrated with legacy systems, or upgrades of current systems
• Perform services such as consultation, assessments, and education to clients
• Develop a deep technical skillset in several cloud and data center technologies
• Engage in continuous learning to stay abreast of new and emerging data center technologies
• Obtain vendor-related certifications
• Work in a dynamic team environment following Aqueduct project methodologies and deliverables as outlined by the Statement of Work
• Ensure customer satisfaction

Product Portfolio:

• Experience deploying, managing, migrating, and upgrading Microsoft technologies such as Windows Server, Active Directory, GPOs, SCCM, O365, and security policies
• Experience deploying and managing MFA and security solutions such as Okta, Onelogin, DUO, and PAM (Privileged Access Management)
• Experience with Azure cloud computing, storage, and DaaS (Desktop as a Service) offerings
• Server virtualization and automation leveraging VMware and/or Hyper-V
• Experience deploying, migrating, managing, and upgrading VMware vSphere and vCenter
• Experience managing or deploying any of the following storage technologies:
  • NetApp
  • EMC VMAX, EMC VNX, Isilon, XtremIO Storage
  • PURE Storage
• Experience managing or deploying any of the following cloud technologies:
  • Azure
  • Amazon Web Services
  • Google Cloud
• Experience managing or deploying any of the following backup technologies:
  • Veeam
  • Cohesity
  • Rubrik
• Experience managing or deploying any of the following disaster recovery platforms:
  • Azure Site Recovery
  • VMware Site Recovery Manager
  • Zerto
  • RecoverPoint

Required Skill Set:

• A minimum of four years of deployment of related technologies
• Advanced troubleshooting skills for finding solutions to customer problems
• Ability to consult on, and provide recommendations for, Active Directory and GPO related best practices
• Ability to perform Operating System installations and upgrades including all software patches and security hot fixes
• Fundamental knowledge/experience with server and storage-based platforms, including understanding of data networking components and concepts
• Knowledge of traditional and next-generation compute, network, storage, and virtualization theory, design, and architecture
• Experience with private and/or public cloud solutions
• Familiarity with Virtual Desktop Infrastructure Solutions
• General knowledge of IT infrastructure design and architecture
• Comfortable, adaptable, and flexible working with diverse customer environments and regulatory requirements
• Experience working with vendors and resellers, handling vendor/reseller relationships, and bringing available resources to bear to solve problems or discover opportunities.
• A positive team player with demonstrated effective interpersonal skills

Preferred:

• Industry certifications with Microsoft, Cisco, and VMware
• CompTia A+/Server+ Certifications
• Experience with public cloud providers such as Amazon, Microsoft, and Google
• Automation experience
• Containerization experience
• Identity Access Management experience
