Job Description

We have a 6 - 12+ month contract for a C++ Developer who specializes in performance, architecture, and big data.

__REMOTE__

This is with a $110 Billion / Fortune 40 Healthcare Insurance Company. The position is working remote, and then on-site may be required when returning to work at some point next year.

Day to Day Responsibilities of this Position and Description of Project:

SDET or Development Engineer needed to evaluate various portions of Development stack for performance tuning and optimization. This engineer will be responsible for identifying key areas of optimization, reviewing with development stakeholders, and implementing updates within a CI/CD process.

  • Must have software development experience within a LINUX/C++ Environment.
  • Must have experience in C++ performance tuning, batch processing and iterating through extremely large datasets.
  • Experience in API/Endpoint Development

Implement CI/CD practices to evaluate stress test components, monitor and report execution times across multiple builds.

Software Skills Required:

LINUX, C++, GIT, Jenkins, NoSQL/MongoDB, Jenkins, interactions with REST API, Microservices

 

Required Skills:

 

C++, UNIX, GIT, Jenkins, MongoDB or equivalent no-SQL

 

Ability to identify system bottlenecks or optimization candidates, and implement as approved.

 

Build CI/CD processes to automate systematic performance inspections.

 

Collaborate/interview with development stakeholders, and establish baseline indicators to forecast load and test systems.

 

 

Preferred Skills:

 

Familiarity with Healthcare environment, particularly HEDIS measures.

 

Ability to clearly document results for management review.

 

Clear communicator, ability to describe technical issues to semi-technical staff.
