Flexion is seeking a Business Analyst for our direct clients' needs. This role is currently remote with onsite work in Sun Prairie, WI once restrictions are lifted.

Manage essential process documentation and project implementation of functional and technical solutions by collaborating with business partners to gather business requirements, provide expertise and guidance and help execute plans to enhance business capability, achieve results and support organizational growth.

Our client has an Increase in demand for Application Maintenance and Enhancement (AME) submissions for Policy Administration Applications (P&C and Specialty Insurance) and Financial and Accounting Applications (Peoplesoft)


Ideal Candidate Qualities:
* Specifically:

o Specialty, Property and Casualty Insurance Experience (Billing and Policy Administration)
o Agile Training/Certification
o Experience in Homeowners Insurance
o Experience in Insurance Accounting applications like Peoplesoft

* Generally:

o Strong Business Analysis acumen and experience (5+ years)
o Ability to work independently for results, as well as collaborate with a team
o Proven ability to elicit requirements from senior level stakeholders both internal and external
o Strong documentation skills
o Strong command of written and spoken English
o Strong influencing and leadership skills

Required Skills or Software Experience:
* Specifically:
o Agile Training and/or Certification
o Project Lifecycle management tools (Atlassian JIRA)
o Peoplesoft
o Claim-Handling experience in Homeowners or Renters

* Generally:
o Requirements gathering and documentation
o Group facilitation and requirements elicitation
o Process and Procedure analysis and mapping
o Implementation training and troubleshooting
o Lead UAT efforts and defect management
o Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Visio, Excel)
o Professional Communication/Chat (Skype/Teams)

 



A typical Day:
* Work onsite in a professional office environment in Sun Prairie, WI upon office re-opening
o Note: Due to COVID concerns, employees are expected to work remotely until further notice
* Eight hours of productive time with the occasional lengthy day during critical project phases
* Daily Stand/Scrum/Touchbase with on and off-shore team members
* Online working meetings via video-conferencing tool with stakeholders and team
* Face to face requirements elicitation/JAD sessions with a group to elicit requirements
* Possible long portions of the day working independently on assigned tasks
