The Data Steward for Enterprise Data Governance will support the Lead of Data Governance Operations Office to ensure effective data management, change management, data standards and solutions. This individual is responsible for the implementation and oversight of all Data Governance Operations Office activities, including facilitating data steward activities and decisions, monitoring Data Governance Operations Office effectiveness, and aligning enterprise data solutions with data standards. The role interacts with business areas and assists business and technical stewards in executing their roles and responsibilities by researching metadata content and relationships within data systems and updating those content and relationships within the metadata tool, Collibra.





Essential Job Responsibilities:



Champion enterprise data governance initiatives across business areas and data stewards

Engage with enterprise data management operations to coordinate and execute enterprise data governance processes, procedures and standards during master data management, data quality and content management activities



Partner with business areas to establish accurate content, relationships and lineage of data solutions and to update it and maintain it within the Data Governance tool, Collibra

Provide guidance to project teams around metrics requriements and tracking to monitor data quality efforts

Develop of quality and performance metric tracking



Identify and manage critical data management issues and risks

Ensure data decisions are communicated and technology groups understand the impact of the decisions and policies



Organizational Context:



This position reports to the Director Global Data Governance within the Advanced Informatics and Analytics organization. This is a new position.
