Position Summary: The Sr. Developer will be responsible for development, execution, and improvement of software engineering action plans. Be an integral part of and participate in various phases of medium to large projects.

Local candidates (Bay Area, Califronia or Phoenix, Arizona ) are highly preferred.

Skill Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering (Any)
• At least 9 years of overall experience with specific experience in building scalable applications using RESful web services utilizing Service Oriented Architecture.
• Hands-on expertise (at least 7 yrs) programming experience using Java, JMS/Messaging, RDBMS, REST & Web Services.
• Demonstrated knowledge of and experience efficiently using data streams, object patterns and various advanced data structures.
• Hands-on experience with Open Source technologies is a must
• 2+ years of proficiency with NoSQL databases/Cassandra is a must
• Hands-on experience Kafka/ any messaging tools such as ActiveMQ/RabbitMQ is preferred
• Expertise in big data technologies is a definite plus such as Hadoop, Apache Spark to name few
• Experience with storm and solr/elastic search skills is a definite advantage
• Prior experience in eCommerce Software development is preferred
• Must have experience on Cassandra
