Job Responsibilities:
Responsible for guiding the development of an agile team into an effective delivery unit with a sustainable cadence
Responsible in partnering with product owners and technical teams to facilitate scrum ceremonies, daily standups, grooming sessions, sprint planning, and demos with key stakeholders
Partnering with team working on Data Ingestion and Consumption initiatives
Create stable pipelines for data to be fed into the Enterprise Data Platform and make this data accessible for needs across the company, with the team.
Responsible for ensuring the teams process evolves within organizational guidelines and standards of practice
Responsible for nurturing self-organizing, high performing teams through servant leadership and mentoring
Responsible in encouraging, supporting, and guiding continuous improvement of the team, external stakeholders, vendors and management
Able to resolve conflict through arbitration, negotiation, reasoned discussion, and escalation
Job Context:
Responsible for partnering with the data engineering team to create stable pipelines for data to be fed into the Enterprise Data Platform and make this data accessible for needs across the company. Responsible for tracking, analyzing and interpreting results & trends to provide conclusions & recommendations to business leaders.
Qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, related field (business, finance, mathematics, computer science), or equivalent professional experience is required.
6+ years of experience in Big Data Analytics / Scrum Master
Atleast 3 years of experience working as a Scrum Master, Project Manager, or analyst on technical projects (Software Development, DevOps, or Big Data)
Experience using SQL and/or Python to perform data analysis.
Excellent interpersonal skills to articulate complex topics clearly and succinctly to technical and non-technical audiences.
Exposure in Big Data projects
AWS Stack understanding
Big Data framework like Hadoop
Efficient in writing complex SQL queries
Skills:
Working knowledge of Big Data and the Hadoop Ecosystem
Experience with JIRA and Confluence
Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery experience
Waterfall to Scrum/Agile Transformation experience
Must be able to write user stories
Must be technical (not necessarily developer)
BA Background Requirements
BA -> Scrum Master (looking for Big data / Data analytical skill set)
Must have experience analytical tools such as with Tabelau, Python, SaS, Spark, Splunk etc
