Job Description
  • Develops innovation strategies, processes, and best practices.
  • Drives the execution of multiple business plans and projects.
  • Supports and ensures business objectives being met.
  • Leads the discovery phase of medium to large projects to come up with high level design.
  • Leads the work of other small group of 3 to 4 engineers for assigned Engineering projects - Leads and participates in end to end service implementations, data feeds ingestion, and orchestration.
  • Designs and implements low latency services.
  • Promotes and supports company policies, procedures, mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity.
  • Troubleshoots business and production issues .

  • Architect, design, develop, troubleshoot and implement rich web application software
  • Participate in technical design reviews, functional specification reviews, develop project estimates, schedules, test plans, and code reviews.
  • Proactively identify and resolve potential problems/issues including authoring of technical specifications.
  • Conduct unit testing, functional testing and performance testing, review results identify bottlenecks, and profile code.
  • Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in computer science or related discipline with 4 to 6 years of core software product development experience.
  • Hands-on experience in producing excellent quality of code, adhering to expected coding standards and industry best practices.
  • Must have strong experience in Core Java 8, J2EE, Spring, Spring Boot, REST API and JSON, Hibernate, Maven, Apache Tomcat, SQL.
  • Experience working in a cloud environment (AZURE, Google Cloud).
  • Experience with development in an agile methodology using TDD/BDD best practices in a continuous integration environment with Junit / NJUnit.
  • Good knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD practices using tools like Git, Jenkins, Nexus, Ansible/OpenShift.
  • Good to have knowledge of PostgreSQL, Cosmos, Casandra, Kafka.
  • Experience working with NoSQL databases, Key-Value stores and Queuing systems.
  • High levels of ownership and commitment on deliverables.
  • Strong and Adaptive Communication Skills - Should be comfortable interacting with US counterparts to probe a technical problem or clarify requirement specifications.
