Positional Overview

We are looking for an experienced back-end web developer. You will be part of a team responsible for developing new applications, as well as maintaining and updating existing tools. The developer will play an integral part in the project life cycle and work closely with team members from initial concept to final release.

We are looking for a developer who has the following experience:

Required Skills and Experience

• Bachelor s Degree in Computer Science or related field
• At least five (5) years of direct experience
• Extensive experience developing web applications
• Familiar and knowledgeable of back-end frameworks, CMS platforms and relational database concepts
• Strong knowledge of front-end development
• Experience with responsive front-end frameworks
•  
• Able to pass a Government Background check

Strongly Preferred Skills and Experience with:

• LAMP stack
• Object Oriented Programming
• SQL (very important)
• Linux command line (helpful)
• Linux file structure (helpful)
• GIT or another version control (very important)
• JavaScript and JQuery frameworks
• HTML 5, CSS, jQuery
• Bootstrap
• Native application development
• Amazon Web Services (AWS)
