Title: Azure Cloud Architect

We are looking for an Azure Architect to lead the assessment, migration, and transformation of our clients current on prem SQL Server environment to Azure. This is a public cloud that will be moving fast with automation highly valued.

This resource will lead the Azure design and engineering work (including designing and deployment)

This resource will also be an Azure platform expert in the "core" infrastructure areas (VM, Storage, Network, etc.)

We would like this resource to have prior experience designing and executing Azure migrations, proof of concepts, assessment and well architected reviews.

Must have hands on experience with:

• MSSQL Server on Azure VM
• Azure backups and other MSSQL backup techniques
• Solutions for monitoring Azure infrastructure and SQL server databases
• MSSQL migration techniques and tools
• PowerShell scripting
• DevOps "toolkit" and attitude
• Terraform knowledge
• Knowledge of container technologies (Kubernetes, Docker, AKS)
• AD / Azure AD knowledge
• Database knowledge (SQL Server / Azure SQL DB, MySQL)
• Knowledge of configuration management tools (Puppet, Chef, Ansible)
• Azure Solution Architect Expert or other Azure certifications = Big Plus
