Do you want to work on products that save people's lives? Our high-visibility client is seeking a strong Android Developer to find and fix bugs from existing features in their system of Android apps written in Java.

Day to day will include:

• Frontend customer interface development on two versions of the product
• Developing the laptop version that runs the same software image
• Some backend work

Qualifications:

• 5+ years' experience in Java development under Android Studio as well as Android development
• Embedded Software experience using a Linux Development environment
• Familiarity with Git / Gerrit tools
• Need experience building operating system(s)
• Feature development experience
• Experience writing Android apps
• Ability to independently organize time and be proactive

Nice to Have:

• Computer Science / Bachelor's Degree
• Experience in a regulated environment and familiarity with the SDLC in a regulated environment to meet FDA requirements
• Experience in a heavily regulated environment, such as medical or aviation
