WANTED: An experienced Web Developer with demonstrated experience in SQL Database Management and a Top Secret clearance.

Develops custom programs for web sites that will attract and appeal to users, and provide desired information. Creates web applications and components from the requirements stage, through design, through production deployment. Possesses a thorough knowledge of programming and server software operations. Develops new Web applications through packaged and customized applications. Creates Web front-end user interface to new or existing databases using a combination of HTML, SQL, C#, VB or other languages to make business applications accessible. Designs and implements user-driven templates, databases and interfaces for ease of use. May create enterprise-wide web applications. Develops database-driven Web interfaces for rapid, real-time information sharing. Experienced in graphics, layout, scripting, programming, SQL database management, as well as development involving compatibility and seamless integration with various technologies.

A week in the life of an Web Developer :

• Proactively propose ideas to drive ongoing website development and process automation
• Design, develop and implement cross-browser and cross-platform content layouts and user interfaces, such as graphics and multimedia for web applications, web pages, and web components
• Test cross-browser, cross-platform and cross-device compatibility for all new developments and participate in usability reviews
• Optimize applications and sites for maximum speed and scalability
• Partner with stakeholders and application team to ensure that experiences and interfaces capture valuable data aligned with business strategy
• Capture web-based system requirements including desired experience, operational, and usability requirements
• Maintain and enhance user interfaces to ensure ease of navigation and simplicity of development solutions
• Support usability testing capturing results to incorporate feedback into site enhancements
• Stay abreast of technology changes, user interface trends, programming techniques and suggest new tools and methods as applicable
• Evaluate and implement new technology to optimize user interface efficiency, reliability, usability, and scalability

Job Requirements

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum 5 years' experience as a web developer with SQL experience
• Minimum 3 years' experience performing custom web development including dynamic content and database connectivity
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science (CS) or Computer Science Information Systems (CSIS) or equivalent
• Active TS Clearance

REQUIRED SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

• Expert knowledge in coding HTML, XML, CSS, SQL, JavaScript, C#
• Expert in development software Microsoft Visual Studio, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and Designer
• Experience with hosting websites using IIS Manager
• Experienced in SQL Database Management and maintaining websites in SQL
• Experienced with routine SQL Database maintenance including backup and recovery
• Analyze, design, program, debug, and improve customer websites
• Experience working in Agile environment
• Perform related duties as required. Employees will be required to perform any other job-related duties assigned by their supervisor or management
