Title: UI Designer
Pay Rate: $50/hr
Location: Memphis TN
Contract: 9 months

We are looking for an innovative, self-motivated User Interface Designer with a passion for using technology to solve problems for people.

A UI Designer specializes in creating and laying out visual aesthetics. They will have a solid understanding of user experience and research practices. They will work collaboratively and independently with latitude for action to translate business, brand, marketing, user experience, and content strategies into a conceptual and visual framework for digital applications on web and mobile projects.

A UI Designer must be able to:

* On assigned projects, collaborate with project team members (Design, UXA, Development, Digital Client Services, and Optimization)
* Participate in brainstorming sessions and design workshops
* Keep up with the latest trends in the industry
* Review assignments and design tickets to regularly communicate your individual capacity
* Works with project team, brand management and/or key stakeholders to establish design direction for digital projects.
* Develops design elements including site layout, navigation, images, icons, animations, and other multimedia assets to support online strategies and provide a usable and compelling digital experience.
* Determines size and arrangement of illustrative material and copy
* Acts as Creative subject-matter-expert reviewing design-related requests for adherence to graphic standards to ensure a consistent creative approach for all brand digital initiatives
* Uses judgment to select appropriate photography and other images
* Produce working prototypes of intended interaction design
* Assures all deliverables are of high quality
* Produce required specs and assets to development
* Tracks time accurately
* participates in design reviews with stakeholders to ensure that design meets both business objectives and user needs
* Archive files and document patterns that may have emerged from project work.

Qualifications:
* Strong Design Portfolio that demonstrates experience
* Exceptional design skills, including color theory, layout, typography, corporate identity, and branding.
* Ability to translate abstract concepts into innovative designs.
* Knowledge of development concepts.
* Strong command of Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Figma, and strong graphic optimization skills.
