Job Title: Technical Program Manager II

Loc: Mountain View , CA

Type: 12+ months contract

Overall Responsibilities: Technical Program Manager

As a Technical Program Manager in the Fitbit team, you will conduct and organize work needed to help us drive the delivery of integration milestones. Day-to-day you will:

• Manage dependencies, identify risks, and drive alignment across teams on complex technical projects

• Use an understanding of the technical systems and stakeholder teams to balance short-term and long-term tradeoffs and priorities

• Manage project schedules with software engineering teams in the Cloud Platform & Tools organization and across the Fitbit BU

• Multi-task and prioritize activities for quick execution of critical path work items

• Work closely with software engineering teams to understand and support their initiatives

• Improve program policies, processes, tools, and documentation where possible and applicable

• Collaborate closely with the integration TPM team to make the program successful

Required Skills/Qualifications:

List of all the skills (education, technical and soft skills) required to be successful in the position

• Technical bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

• Experience managing large-scale or multiple medium-scale, dynamic technical programs

• Ability to interact with diverse technical and non-technical groups, spanning all organizational levels

• Strong oral and written communication skills

• Strong stakeholder management skills

• Ability to develop and report program metrics

• Excellent attention to detail

• Ability to prioritize time between multiple projects, and be flexible by adapting to changing schedules and different projects

• Ability to leverage technology to solve real life problems
