Job Description

A large healthcare analytics and research company is hiring a Technical Lead to one of their Product Engineering teams in Center City. This role would start fully remote, but would eventually be in-office at their Philadelphia Headquarters.

This company is an industry leader within healthcare trends, predictive analytics, and research and development due to their innovative products. This particular developer will be working on building out new features for their flagship predictive product servicing medical students within nursing programs. The backend is Java 1.8 and 1.11, Spring Boot, Hibernate, and deployed on Amazon Web Services. The company is actually one of the largest consumers of AWS on the East Coast. There would also be a fair amount of frontend work involved so any experience with Angular or React is also desired.

This is a great opportunity to work for one of the largest healthcare analytics and product companies on the East Coast. They continuously push for modern technologies and work in Agile teams. This role will also involve leadership of people and projects, prepping your career for a management role in the future. While this developer would start as a contract, would be converted to a direct hire at six months. You will receive W2 benefits while on contract.
Required Skills & Experience

• Java 1.8 or 1.11 experience
• Spring Boot, Cloud, Data, etc.
• Angular, React, etc.
• MySQL, Postgres, or Oracle
• Amazon Web Services
• Excellent written and oral communication

Desired Skills & Experience

• Serverless architecture
• Lambdas within AWS
• CI/CD - Jenkins, Docker
• BS in Computer Science or related field

The Offer

• Competitive Pay: Up to $70.00/hour, DOE
• Contract Duration: Six Month Contract-to-Hire
