What You'll Bring:
Required Skills:

• 5+ years of experience in software development
• 3+ years of experience in an architect role responsible for overseeing design, pattern development, and tool selection
• Excellent communication skills and experience interacting both with upper management as well as individual contributors
• Strong ability to document architectural patterns and decisions through appropriate tools (diagrams, wiki articles, samples, etc.)
• Experience working with teams in designing and implementing solutions using the following technologies:
  • Microsoft .NET (Framework, Core, .NET 5)
  • Java/Spring
  • AWS (both IaaS and PaaS hosting)
  • On-Premise Hosting
  • Microsoft SQL Server
  • Infrastructure-as-code (CFT, Terraform)
  • CI/CD/GitOps concepts

We'd Love to See

• Experience coordinating architecture goals across multiple teams, including finding points of commonality to reduce redundancy
• Exposure to a large enterprise setting requiring coordination with central technology leadership and team-level goals and helping to develop priorities representing both
• Experience with additional technologies like:
  • AWS AuroraDB
  • PostgreSQL
  • Kubernetes
  • Big Data technologies (HDFS, MapReduce/EMR, Spark, Hive, Oozie, Sqoop, etc.)
• Architecture-oriented cloud certifications (e.g. AWS Certified Solutions Architect)
• Past participation in a large organization's cloud migration with experience operating applications in a hybrid environment
• Security-first mindset and knowledge of application security concepts, particularly within a highly-regulated industry

Impact You'll Make:
During your first 90 days you will meet with our Healthcare development teams to understand current system architecture and in-progress technology initiatives. You'll participate in cloud migration design and planning activities. You will help to drive strategy and coordinate priorities between our Healthcare businesses and enterprise-level technology goals.
