Senior JavaScript Developer (Remote)

This is a full-time, salaried development position with a very competitive compensation/benefits package including profit sharing and productivity bonus plans. This role demands an innovative and motivated individual that can design and develop progressive web and mobile interfaces for our market leading clients. Ideally, you should be an senior level JavaScript developer with a strong web development background. This role will collaborate with the business team in an Agile environment to efficiently design and implement solutions for our clients/projects while multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment.

A minimum of 6 years UI Development is most likely needed to perform in this role.

Responsibilities:

1. Our tech stack involves React or Angular, SASS, and HTML5.
2. Expertise on responsive, mobile-first, and grid based layouts, as well as 508 compliant, minimalist, and semantic HTML are a must.
3. Our app may be deployed on Liferay. Knowledge of Liferay, while a plus, is not required.
4. We consume REST JSON services from Liferay or from other systems including AWS API Gateway or Azure API Manager or MuleSoft or... We use RxJS observables. RxJS knowledge is a plus, but an understanding of JavaScript promises is required.
5. Regularly present to stakeholders and various other non-technical teams. Strong communication skills are required.
6. We are an Agile shop that expects all of our employees to perform with minimal supervision. We are looking for self-starters with strong time management skills and an understanding of Agile principles.
7. Conduct code reviews of ES6/TypeScript
8. Translate UI/UX design artifacts into functional apps and websites.

Requirements:

1. Strong HTML5/CSS3/SASS experience
2. Experience with frameworks and libraries such as Angular, React, React Native, Node and similar
3. Ability to effectively write from scratch and code review ES6/TypeScript. You will need to be an senior level in JavaScript to succeed in this role
4. Git, Gitlab (source management) experience
5. Aptitude and desire to learn and apply new technical concepts
6. Strong problem solving and analytical skills with the ability to clearly communicate and share solutions with fellow team members
7. Hands-on experience using Material Design and related components
