Our IT team has 4 different departments: Information Security, IT Service Delivery, Business Enabling Systems, and IT Commerce & Customer Engagement.

About the Job

HOW THIS ROLE WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:

As a Sr. Integration Engineer (TIBCO) you will be responsible for collaborating with various application teams to design and build sustainable solutions to meet business needs and add significant business value. You will execute the build, test and deployment of the solution to ensure it meets design specification and ultimately the business requirements. This role will be part of our Scaled Agile Framework (SAFE) practice in PetSmart, within the Digital and Customer business area oriented Agile Release Train (ART). In the Digital space you will help us build the back-end integrations to support our Customer interactions across multiple Digital Channels. In the Customer space you will work the same, building back-end integrations to support CRM, Marketing and Loyalty capabilities.

YOUR GOALS AND RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

• Provide detailed solutioning, development, testing and deployment using Agile Based Methodology for integration solutions leveraging TIBCO technologies (full SDLC process)
• Interface with key stakeholders, product owners, solution/system architects, and development teams to build detailed technical design and specification documents, to meet business needs, considering capabilities, risks, and system dependencies
• Deliver high quality code deliverables, lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition and warranty
• Coaches less experienced developers, executing code/peer reviews and providing guidance on how to approach/solve complex scenarios while adhering to design and architecture, standards and best practices
• Champion efforts to ensure appropriate development best practices
• Work on multiple concurrent workstreams, meet business expectations, influence outcomes and maintain stated timelines

Experience / Education:

• BA/BS Degree in IT, MIS or other within computer science
• Minimum 5 years hands on Enterprise Application Integration (EAI), Data Analytics (integration) architectures, integration patterns and best practices
• Experience using the tools in the PetSmart Enterprise Information Platform: TIBCO BW5/BW6/BWCE(desired)/EMS, MuleSoft (desired)
• XML and JSON manipulation and transformation skills
• Publisher-Subscriber and REST and SOAP API development experience
• API Management experience (desired)
• SQL scripting and basic relational and analytical DB management skills (SnowFlake, Netezza, SQL Server and Oracle)
• Non-SQL data store management experience (CosmosDB/MongoDB desired)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) skills and Agile/Scrum (SAFE desired)
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
