SUMMARY:?Responsible for the development of all phases in SQL, T-SQL, relational database programming/design, and SSRS reporting.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Write stored procedures, table alterations, functions, selects, inner and outer joins, indexes, SSIS packages, and SSRS Reports in SQL Server 2016 and 2019
- API development using C#, SSIS, REST APIs, and PowerShell to load data into SQL Server
- Work with JSON and XML data from APIs and SQL Server objects
- Optimize and administer current queries, including generation of version update scripts
- Configure and promote objects through development to production using version control system and coding standards
- Convert business requirements to system design
- Own the database schema, which designates responsibility for its design (both current and planned improvement)
- Knowledge and experience with data warehousing concepts using Data Vault and/or Kimball methodologies (dimensional modeling, star schema)
- Interact with programmers as a *SQL Expert*
- Other duties may be assigned
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:?
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science required Master's degree preferred
- Minimum 5+ years of experience as an MS SQL programmer in a fast-paced, dynamic environment using a structured software development methodology
- Experience designing and implementing large-scale database solutions that are reliable, scalable, and perform at high levels
- Working knowledge of security and privacy issues, SQL 2019, and SQL 2016.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:?Individuals must be team quality players in a fast-paced environment. The candidate must work in an environment with 90% development and 10% production support.
