KORE1, a nationwide provider of staffing and recruiting solutions, has an immediate opening for a SQL DBA.
With a rapidly growing customer base, we are adding a Senior DBA. This position will be responsible for the application and reporting databases performance, security and scalability. Additionally, the position will be using the latest data visualization tools to create operations and application reports (Power BI, Tableau, or Domo)
Our SaaS solution is experiencing large year-over-year traffic growth. We are looking for someone who's excited about high throughput SaaS solutions and has a passion to architect database systems for optimal performance. Your proven track record will be integral in transforming the internal SaaS solution to meet our rapid growth.
Job scope and responsibilities:
  • Daily monitoring of database and query performance using tools like SolarWinds and Splunk
  • Work with engineers to optimize application queries
  • Develop ETLs to load the data warehouse with data optimized for reporting
  • Develop data visualizations and reporting for both customer facing and internal teams
  • Analyze DB for security vulnerabilities
  • Execute schema migrations as part of application release process
  • Setup, Optimize, and monitor DB replication to other regions or environments
Experience and education:
  • Bachelor's degree computer science/engineering. Masters preferred
  • 4+ years work experience as a SQL Server DBA
  • 2+ years ETL experience with Talend, SSIS or similar
  • 2+ years reporting writing experience with SSRS, Power BI, Tableau or similar
  • AWS or Azure cloud experience a plus
