Job Description:

Position Summary

Responsible for developing and delivering complex software requirements to accomplish business goals. Ensures that software is developed to meet functional, non-functional, and compliance requirements. Codes solutions, unit tests, and ensures the solution can be integrated successfully into the overall application/system with clear, robust and well-tested interfaces. Familiar with development and testing practices of the bank. Contributes to story refinement/defining requirements. Participates and guides team in estimating work necessary to realize a story/requirement through the delivery lifecycle. Performs spike/proof of concept as necessary to mitigate risk or implement new ideas. Codes solutions and unit tests to deliver a requirement/story per the defined acceptance criteria and compliance requirements Utilizes multiple architectural components (across data, application, business) in design and development of client requirements. Assists team with resolving technical complexities involved in realizing story work. Contributes to existing test suites (integration, regression, performance); Analyzes test reports, identifies any test issues/errors; Triages the underlying cause. Documents and communicates required information for deployment, maintenance, support, and business functionality. Participates, contributes and can coach team members in the delivery/release (CI-CD) events.

Focus on setting technical direction on groups of applications and similar technologies as well as taking responsibility for technically robust solutions encompassing all business, architecture, and technology constraints.

Typically requires 7-10 years of experience

Required Skills

-Expert Level Knowledge of SQL including coding

-Strong knowledge of working with various databases Oracle DB, Hadoop, Hive, MS Sql Server, My SQL etc. including coding.

-Hadoop Echo system platform and tools.

-Knowledge of equity and fixed income orders and trades.

-Strong Technical/Functional - Data Analyst with experience in Banking and Financial Services.

-Strong knowledge in requirements gathering, analysis, and documenting business requirements.

-Facilitate / Participate in Joint Application Development (JAD) sessions for requirements gathering and resolving open issues.

-Experience in capturing / analyzing system and business processes.

-Expertise in Data analysis, Data mapping and Data modeling, data governance, data management and meta data management.

-Proficiency in Data Visualization using tools such as Excel and Tableau.

-Good working knowledge of agile development methodologies.

-Proficiency with Use case Diagrams, Mockups and Sequence Diagrams

-Self-starter with ability to work independently and adapt to changing requirements and tight deadlines.
