Software Applications (C/C++) / Project Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Run Agile project planning process including a weekly meeting.
• Maintain cross-team dependencies and collaborate with other project managers and teams across the company.
• Provide feedback with respect to any necessary changes in staffing needs/requirements.
• Direct contributions as a software engineer for some part of your time.
• Must be hands-on – 50% time spent software development (C/C++ or Python).
• Responsible for operational abilities, time allocation debugging, data collection repairs.
• This is not a people manager role, but rather maintenance and care of project, frequent coordination with design teams.
• Work closely with senior technical leadership to manage team schedule and deliverables.
• Work with multiple teams and sub-teams to apply objectives, project scope and activities, track and status progress and deliverables, point of contact for scheduling and preventing roadblocks.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of software development
• 3 years of software project management experience
• 3-5 years’ experience with C/C++ or Python
• Experience as a software engineering individual contributor
• Project management experience building software for hardware
• Experience working in small teams
• Project management in an early-stage startup environment
• Experience with Atlassian tools, specifically Jira
• BS Engineering or comparable
• Advanced degree in Software Engineering desired
