About the position:

This position can be remote.

Provide Web based software development using technologies including Server-side scripting, HTML/CSS/JavaScript, and SQL. Work closely with database administrators, IT project managers and programmers to develop an analytical web solution to meet customer needs. Design, develop and implement API's as well other contemporary data integration technologies. Analyze current and future customer needs and requirements to drive future Raymond software developments. Typically works under normal office conditions and required to sit for extended periods of time. Regularly spend significant amounts of time working in front of a computer terminal.

Job Responsibilities

• Utilize HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery for web application development.
• Utilize Server-side scripting development.
• Utilize SQL for database development.
• Use of Git version-control systems.
• Knowledge and use of Software Development Life-Cycle tools, such as Azure DevOps
• Write and maintain detailed specifications.
• Responsible for ensuring that all project segments integrate effectively.
• Present project status and technical program alternatives to management.
• Keep abreast of innovation in web-based user interface design and development.
• Attends/participates at technical conferences.
• Incorporate Web Application Security Best Practices
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and ability to deal with ambiguity in a changing business environment
• Strong analytical skills, demonstrated ability to work in a team environment
• Performs work under minimal
• Influences changes in customer facing enterprise level applications
• Handles complex issues and problems and refers only the most complex issues to higher-level staff.
• Provides leadership, coaching, and/or mentoring to lower-level staff. May act as lead.

About remote work:

Fully remote candidates will be considered based on experience and skill set. Fully remote candidates may be required to travel to Greene, NY for onboarding and/or periodically throughout the year based on business need. About you:

• Five or more years of related work experience is required
• Experience with version control systems, such as Git or SVN
• Intermediate knowledge of API development, implementation, and maintenance
• Experience with front end web technologies, such as Vue.js, React, or Angular a plus
• Advanced use of server-side scripting languages. Experience with Adobe ColdFusion a plus
• A working knowledge of Responsive Web Design

It would be great if you had:

• A Bachelor's Degree in a related field
