Senior UI/UX Designer

Dimiour.io is looking for a professional and resourceful Senior UI/UX Designer with a portfolio of successful project experiences to join our team. The Senior UI/UX Designer is primarily responsible for defining and designing intuitive and appealing UI/UX for our clients.

The ideal hire is a self-motivated individual with excellent communication skills who can leverage their skills to help our clients and project teams illustrate the functionality and the experiences to be provided by the solution. We are looking for a resourceful individual who is comfortable working in a fast-paced and autonomous environment.

Experience in designing for data and/or workflow visualization, BPM, or data mining is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with product managers and developers
• Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows and sitemaps
• Design graphic user interface elements, like menus, tools, and widgets
• Build page components and layouts, including navigation buttons and search fields
• Develop UI mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how interfaces function and look like
• Create original graphic designs (e.g. images, sketches and tables)
• Prepare and present designs to internal teams and key client stakeholders
• Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to optimize the end user's experience and effectiveness of the interface features
• Identify and troubleshoot UX problems (e.g. responsiveness)
• Conduct layout adjustments based on user feedback
• Adhere to style standards on fonts, colors and images

Requirements and skills

• Proven work experience as a UI/UX Designer or similar role - Minimum of 5 years
• Portfolio of design projects
• Knowledge of wireframe/UI design tools (e.g. Figma and InVision)
• Up-to-date knowledge of design software like Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
• Working knowledge of the following technologies and software: Sketch, InVision, Figma, Lucidchart, Visio, HTML, CSS (SCSS), iOS, Android, Design Systems, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
• Team spirit; strong communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders
• Bachelor's degree in Design, Computer Science or relevant field
