The Publix I/S mission is to maximize the value of information technology to Publix associates and customers. The Digital Payments Development Team is seeking a Senior Systems Analyst who will be responsible for playing a key role in designing and developing solutions for Digital Ecommerce Payment applications using various methods, tools and utilities. Further duties will include:

• Leading critical efforts to develop and support complex systems and initiatives by overseeing design, development, and implementation; instruct, direct, and audit the development work of others
• Leading design of enterprise class solutions using object-oriented analysis, design patterns, UML, service-oriented architecture and solution frameworks
• Conducting peer code reviews and mentoring junior developers on coding standards and best practices
• Analyzing and translating of business requirements into technology solutions that consider system performance, usability, quality, cross-system interdependencies, and scalability
• Documenting business and technical requirements
• Coordinating large and critical cross platform releases with business units and technical teams
• Approving design of complex technical solutions working with architects and other I/S resources
• Ensuring adherence to security standards and best practices for various platforms
• Working closely with IT management on project and resource planning, including effort estimation

The most suitable candidate for this position will have a technical background with strong analytical, planning, problem solving, writing and presentation skills and one who has the ability to communicate effectively with management, peers, technology vendors and business unit customers.

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or other analytical discipline or equivalent experience
• Minimum ofseven years experience designing, developing, and supporting applications in an enterprise environment
• Minimum of seven years experience analyzing and translating business requirements into technology solutions that consider system performance, usability, quality, cross-system interdependencies and scalability
• Minimum ofseven years experience coding with C# in the .Net framewrok
• Minimum offive years experience with SQL Server
• Minimum offive years experience developing REST APIs
• Must have excellent communication skills
• Be able to work with minimal supervision within a large corporate environment
• Ability to work concurrently on multiple assignments with similar deadlines

• 9+ years designing enterprise class solutions using object-oriented analysis and design, design patterns, UML, service-oriented architecture and solution frameworks
• Demonstrate a passion for coding standards, best practices, problem solving, unit testing, and learning new skills
• Experience with Cloud-Native application development
• Experience with responsive web application design and development
• Experience with mobile application development
• Strong technical understanding of IIS and other middleware components
• Strong technical understanding of data modeling concepts
• Knowledge of EFT Payment Processing
• Knowledge of PCI rules and regulations
• Knowledge of fraud and risk-based management solutions
• Strong problem-determination and resolution experience
• Experience and knowledge of problem management, change management, and other I/S processes
• Experience with Agile and Scrum Development Methodologies
