JOB SUMMARY:
7-Eleven is looking for a Sr IT Project Manager - PMO, responsible for guiding the delivery of programs and projects by
providing strategic and operational support.
The Sr IT Project Manager position is responsible for establishing governance for managing projects / programs of
varying size and complexity from initiation through completion across cross-functional project teams. Using best
practices and project management methodology as a guide, the PMO Project Manager coordinates project initiation
activities, leads project planning, execution, and closure activities of the approved project while providing on-going
monitoring and reporting of project progress.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:
Manages the day-to-day aspects of a project to deliver high-quality, on time, on budget outcomes within the
project scope to enable overall project success rate.
Create relevant documentation and templates that required for setting up a PMO.
Provide training around project management methodologies and standards.
Coordinates the identification and planning of all project/Program work streams, including working with each
functional manager to plan work product schedules, identify key milestones, manage dependencies, identify,
track and manage risks/issues/decisions, and report on project progress.
Communicates clear, concise, and accurate project status and budget to all appropriate project stakeholders,
including providing weekly status reports.
Provides strong leadership capabilities to lead and direct project teams, leading team decision-making
processes, and cultivating an environment of healthy team debate and collaboration.
Build project plans that blend Agile and Waterfall methodologies to align deliveries.

Qualifications

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
EDUCATION: Bachelors/4 Yr Degree
YEARS OF RELEVANT WORK EXPERIENCE: 10+ years
YEARS OF MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE: 4+ years
CERTIFICATIONS / LICENSES: Project Management Professional(PMP) required, PMI-ACP ( nice to have but not
required), Scrum Master certification

SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
10+ years experience in project management with 2 years experience working as part of a PMO Governance
team.
Ability to create detailed project plan, identification of resource types both IT and Business.
Requires solid project management skills, ability to multitask and manage multiple projects in a cross-functional
environment.
Experience managing budgets that include labor, hardware and software.
Experienced in use of project management tools and techniques.
Experience working with external consultants and vendors and managing a joint project plan.
Ability to plan and lead steering committee meetings with executive leadership reporting status and issues.
Project management experience and knowledge of concepts and practices.
Knowledge and experience with project management tools and techniques including Smart Sheets, Microsoft
Project, Jira, Microsoft Azure DevOps, scrum, Kanban, CI/CD.
Experience developing and managing software, hardware and services contracts.
A Bachelor's Degree is required.
