Job Description:

You will be working in a fast growing organization to aid the IT department manage enterprise projects in a global environment. As an IT Project Manager, you will have the opportunity to work closely with IT department senior management on efficiently and effectively managing enterprise projects.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain information technology plans which outline project status individual tasks, milestones, completion estimates, and resource allocation
  • Assign and oversee the weekly tasks of technical personnel while ensuring team members are actively working toward established milestones
  • Hold regular technical team meetings to determine progress and address any questions or challenges regarding projects
  • Determine and define clear deliverables, roles and responsibilities for staff members required for specific projects or initiatives
  • Manage multiple projects across different IT groups, operate as IT team liaison between internal support teams and have a problem-solving team player approach when issues do arise.
  • Communicate and coordinate any enterprise IT project roll-outs in POC and production phases
  • Review projects plans for quality assurance
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through post-project debrief with key stake holders
  • Continuously monitor all task estimates, project statuses, and project completion paperwork
  • Work with the IT senior technical team to brainstorm new test ideas for managing technical projects
  • Development of regular team project status meetings with the IT senior and key stake holders

Qualifications:

  • BS degree in related field or equivalent experience
  • 7 plus years of managing technical/IT projects
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM)
  • Proficiency in programs such as SharePoint and the Microsoft Office Suite
  • Familiarity with IT standards such as SSAE SOC2, ISO 27001, PCI, HIPAA/HITECH, NIST, CSA/CCM
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written • Analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
